Trip to Disneyland

The Yorgason's took a trip to Disneyland in April. Disney has always been a favorite of mine, and it was fun to take the kids with us. We went to Disney World 2 years ago and ran ourselves ragged, so this was a little more low key with only two parks to visit. The trip was timed just right in between spring break and summer break, so the parks weren't too busy. On Friday we got rained on, a whole lot of rain, but other than that the weather was perfect. We all had an excellent time seeing each other, staying out late with the kids, going on lots of rides, and making lots of memories. Now that Deb and Greg live in LA and Greg works for Disney, I'm sure we'll make it down often to see them.

Breakfast with Caden's very favorite Pooh Bear. The smile on Avery's face shows how much she loved her new animal friends.Family picture at breakfast with Eeyore...Avery liked his big nose :)
Sitting and waiting to find out what was next - they really got along well.
Avery fought sleeping the whole time. She doesn't sleep ANYWHERE except for her bed. This truly was a picture moment when she fell asleep on our last day there in her stroller.
Getting ready to leave the hotel and head to the airport.

Caden is something else. He is so full of energy and personality. Each day he has something new to share with us that just blows me away. He loves the movie Cars, and he often thinks he is Lightning McQueen. He loves trains, legos, cars, dinosaurs (we just saw "Night at the Museum" and he thinks Rexy the Dinosaur was the best), SUGAR, teasing, and asking questions - lots and lots of questions :) He keeps us on our toes and I have the be careful how I answer the questions because he remembers everything.

Our little Avery

How can we say no to this big brown eyes?

Our little Avery is something else. We like to call her our little fireball - always full of energy. She might be tiny but she packs quite a punch. Her big brown eyes will melt your heart. She's already learning how to get her way.

Finally becoming friends

I didn't know if I'd ever see the day when Caden and Avery would get along. Now they get along almost too well. They are little mischief makers and they are so quiet about it. I love it though, that they love each other and want to be with each other.

Caden helped Avery eat toothpaste while I showered because "she liked the way it tasted"
