The kids are so good with him. Avery loves having time each morning with the baby and Grandma Yorgason. She notices every time I feed him, and runs to the other room to get a diaper. She's picked up on that pretty quick, and it is so nice to have her and Caden helping me.
Today we took the baby to the Dr. for a jaundice check up. He's been a little yellow, and the Dr. had me take him to the hospital for blood work. Number came back high, but not high enough for the light blankets. Hopefully he'll do better the next couple of days. He weighs 6 lb 15 oz today. He eats pretty well, but is sleepy all the time so that takes time to make sure he wakes to eat.
Avery has been playing lots of dress up. The things don't always go together, but she's cute anyway.
Caden absolutely adores his brother. He didn't pay much attention to Avery as a baby, but he can't get enough of this little guy. Every morning he hugs/kisses him before school, and seeing the baby is the first thing he wants to do when he gets home. PS - if you blow up this picture, look at Caden's eyes...aren't those cool?
