What a suprise! I love this blogging stuff!! It makes everything feel not so long ago. It looks like life is treating you well!! We miss the 105th ward as well...we loved our 3 years there from beginning to end! There were always friends close by! That was probably the hardest thing about moving.
Mama Snacks I miss you. You look great and have two REALLY cute kids. I am so happy things are going so well with you. The pictures are so cute of your family. I need to get my blog updated. Please let me know the next time you are down I would love to catch up.
Martha, I was so excited to see that you had started a blog. Your kids are so cute! My kids love to look at your blog and see all of your cute pictures. You look really happy!! I am so glad to catch up with you again.
I live with my husband of almost 6 years, Ryan, and our three kids - Caden, Avery and Lucas. I love going to the gym, working on my blog, secret shopping and going to the pool with the kids.
9-23-08: Caden asked me today why Tom liked the girl Jeffy (referring to the cartoon Tom & Jerry)...I told him I wasn't sure, and he asked if it was because the girl Jerry was as pretty as me. Not sure if that is good to be compared to a rat, but it was cute.
9-5-0-8: Caden has been really nervous at school, so he told us when he got off the bus "I was a little sad at school, and I didn't have a picture of you, so I said a little prayer to Heavenly Father that I could be happy at recess and I was".
6-25-08: Ryan and Caden were out playing baseball. Ryan told Caden he was getting a lot better at hitting the ball, and Caden said to Ryan, "There are dreamers and there are do-ers. I'm a do-er." I guess he learned that from Gopher on Winnie the pooh
5-14-08: I was trying to copy a picture for Caden to put in his pocket. He found one he wanted, but I explained it was too big. He said "We could just put it in the dryer and make it shrink."
4-23-08: Caden and I were out planting flowers in our pots. He wanted to know the names of the flowers and I told him they were pansies. He said, "Hey, that's what little girls wear."
4-7-08: Avery got in trouble tonight for hitting Caden on the head. Ryan asked her to come sit by him for a time out. She ran straight to Caden, squeezing his head as hard as she could, and kept yelling "I'm sorry Caden, I'm sorry Caden."
4-7-08: After telling Ryan "I don't like you" for not doing something, we took Caden to bed and asked him to say his personal prayers. He told me he didn't need to, he already did. I asked when, and he said "When I told dad I didn't like him, I felt bad, so said a prayer and asked Heavenly Father to help me feel happy."
4-4-08: When putting Caden to bed tonight, he yelled to us from his room, "In the morning, when Conference starts, if I'm not awake and you have the remote, will you pause it until I get up...or just wake me?"
2-9-08: Caden blew in my face and asked how his breath smelled. I told him clean. He asked, "Clean like a toilet?"
2-10-08: A little girl at church told Caden she didn't like his new tie. He quickly responded "Well, I don't like your dress"...maybe we should work on manners?
2-10-08: Today when saying the prayer, he said "Bless Avery that she will close her eyes RIGHT NOW!!!"
2-10-08: He also blesses that his and Avery's testimonies will grow in every prayer. Kind of sweet, that he remembers and thinks to ask for that. Oh, the faith of a child
2-14-08: Caden asked me tonight if dogs are just reindeer without their antlers
